Asia-Pacific Regional Workshop on ATLAS Computing/Software 2011
14th - 15th of March, The University of Melbourne, Melbourne Australia.
In the week before ISGC 2011, Taipei.
APRWS 2011 builds on the previous Asia Pacific Regional Workshop in Computing/Software, hosted at Tokyo University in 2009.It is a great opportunity for us as ATLAS partners to come together and discuss ATLAS in the context of the Asia-Pacific region.
We are inviting participation from all Asia-Pacific institutions whom are partners in the ATLAS experiment, i.e., Australia, China, Japan and Taiwan.
ATLAS experts from CERN or other institutes will be guests at the workshop, presenting on the current state of the ATLAS experiment, and plans for the coming year. We are also running several tutorials in parallel to the workshop, covering analysis material relevant to postdoctoral students and current ATLAS students.
We ask that a representative from each country give a presentation covering their ATLAS activities and grid site(s), using this structure as a guideline.
The workshop will be held in The School of Physics at The University of Melbourne,
